The PCE-WP24 is a moisture meter designed for noninvasive, nondestructive moisture measurements of wood, timber and other construction or building materials. It is an ideal tool for assessing everything from lumber to floors and more. The PCE-WP24 moisture meter uses electromagnetic waves that penetrate approximately 50mm to 60mm (depending on substrate) to return a mean-value moisture content percentage.
To measure, simply select either wood or building material (BUILD.MAT.) on the meter and place the meter’s electrodes on the surface of the substrate. In seconds, the results will be displayed on the easy-to-read 3-digit LCD screen. The battery level is also displayed on the screen.
For accurate results, be sure to calibrate the meter before each use according to the instructions outlined in the user manual.
