The PCE-WMT 200 is a Bluetooth-enabled moisture meter with ram electrode, two different size needle sets and automatic and manual temperature compensation. Up to 44 different types of wood, including 36 hardwoods and 8 conifers, can be measured for their moisture content, as well as chipboard, wood fiber insulation board and building material. For a detailed list of the wood types and their measurement ranges, please see the instruction manual. The measured value can be up to 150% moisture in relation to the dry matter. In order to obtain the most precise measurement possible, the Bluetooth moisture meter has both automatic and manual temperature compensation between -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F).

In order to carry out a measurement, a pair of measuring tips is first knocked into the wood with the help of the ram electrode. Two different pairs of measuring tips are available for the moisture meter (with the pair of needles 45 x 3.05 mm, you can drive into the wood up to a depth of 30 mm). The type of wood to be measured is selected via an Android or iOS device and the measurement is started. The current measured value is displayed after a few seconds. The connection between the Bluetooth moisture measuring device and the mobile device is made via a Bluetooth 4.0 interface. After a measurement, the measured value from the Bluetooth wood timber moisture meter can be saved on the mobile device. The data can be exported in CSV and PDF format.
