The metal middle layer allows a 5000 volt charge to dissipate to 0 volts in 50 microseconds. The inner antistatic polyethylene layer prevents static charges from generating inside the bag (less than 10¹¹ ohms/sq). The outer layer is a tough, antistatic (10¹¹ ohms/sq) polyester. 100 bags per package.
