3M™ CorQUIN™ Inorganic Insulating Paper is a specialty paper for use in manufacturing spiral wound and other types of core tubes. It can be used in electrical insulation systems up to Class 220(R) per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085. The high inorganic content in CorQUIN paper (up to 90 percent) offers excellent thermal and dielectric stability, as well as high thermal conductivity, long term voltage endurance, and low moisture absorption. CorQUIN paper is compatible with commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins, and is easily impregnated, further enhancing thermal conductivity and coil bonding characteristics. 3M Innovative Paper Technologies UL Recognized Insulation Systems (File No. 65007) may be found on UL’s Electrical Insulation Systems database at http.//database.ul.com/systems/.
