The MG530 multifunctional tester by Triplett offers a broad array of capabilities. It can test insulation resistance up to 4000 megohm, utilizing four different test voltages (125V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V). In addition, it can gauge AC/DC Voltage, Resistance, Frequency, and Continuity. The MG530 is designed with a Lock Power feature for autonomous operation, enabling you to concentrate on your measurements. It also incorporates a live circuit voltage indicator for increased safety. An optional flex clamp can be used with the MG530 to measure up to 3000A AC Current.
To further enhance its functionality, it provides a LoZ (impedance) mode to detect ghost voltages and an LPF (low pass filter) mode to filter out frequency and harmonic interference when evaluating variable frequency drives. The tester's backlit 4000 count LCD display with a bargraph ensures results are clear and easy to interpret. With a CAT IV 600V safety rating, safety is prioritized. The package comes with test leads, six AA batteries, and a carrying case for easy transport. The MG530 is supported by a one-year warranty.
