The Triplett Model SLM850 Dosimeter monitors workplace noise exposure over an 8-hour period, providing a percentage dose measurement. It enables quick and easy on-site surveys to identify necessary noise reduction measures in compliance with OSHA, MSHS, DOD, ACGIH, ISO85, and ISO90 standards. Users can configure and save one custom measurement setup. Additionally, the device's SLM (sound level meter) mode allows for environmental and product noise evaluation, with the capacity to log up to 1,000,000 readings. The meter includes A/C/Z frequency weighting, various time weightings (Fast/Slow/Impulse/Peak), and customizable SPL (dB) and Peak (dB) alarms. A USB interface is available for initial test parameter setup, and recorded data can be uploaded to a PC for further analysis and storage.
