The Triplett Model SFM500 Electrostatic Field Meter measures electrostatic charge on a body or object without contact. It has a range from -19.000kV to +19.000kV and measures at a distance of 1 inch (2.54 cm). The readings are displayed on a 4.5-digit (19,999 count) backlit LCD. It includes user-programmable audible high/low alarms, a data hold function to freeze the display reading, Min/Max capture for the highest and lowest readings, and a zero function to clear residual readings and reset the display. You can manually store and recall up to 99 readings. Additional features include a low battery indicator, auto power off (with disable option) to save battery life, and a tripod mount for hands-free use.
