The FLIR Acoustic Camera Tester includes a set of preset sounds that can be used to demonstrate the functionality of the Si2 acoustic camera. In addition to being useful for demonstrations, it also functions as an accuracy checker that can be used to check that the camera shows the correct reading. The device produces a sound signal that is perceived and evaluated by the camera. The perceived dB-level of the signal can be used to ensure the correct level of the Si2’s readings and the condition of the microphone array.
