The BITE5 battery tester is capable of examining lead acid, NiCD, and lithium-ion batteries. It records and measures the battery's voltage, impedance, and temperature. Additionally, the BITE5 facilitates discharge testing by monitoring the voltage and current throughout the discharge process, along with the impedance and temperature.

During the entire discharge test, it logs the voltage, DC current, impedance, and temperature of each cell. The average impedance measured at the conclusion of the commissioning test serves as a benchmark for future impedance tests. The BITE5 touch screen displays the trend of the recorded data for each test and the discharge of each cell. The recorded data can be transferred to the PowerDB software via USB or an SD card for custom report generation. Moreover, data can be transferred to PowerDB wirelessly.
