The 1011-354 capacitive pickup helps detect reactive leakage current caused by stray capacitance during fault tracing. With this pickup, the receiver will alert for any real fault on any line throughout the tracing process. Without it, the receiver must be connected to the transmitter to identify the line with the actual fault.
