The 7-inch resistive touchscreen accepts input from gloved operators and probes. Wi-Fi connectivity spares installation sites from requiring Ethernet cables. The customizable proximity card reader reads virtually any proximity or contactless card type in the world. The 3-prong safety-certified power adapter supplies ground without the need for additional wiring. The Wiegand interface pairs with the 50177 Facial Recognition Terminal and other access control devices. The replaceable dual-wire wrist strap jack minimizes service downtime.
The VGA video output mirrors the display onto an external monitor. SmartLog Pro ManagerWeb App compatibility allows users to access test data and reports from any web browser. The device tests the operator's path-to-ground, determining if personal grounding devices are functioning correctly. Electronic data acquisition creates a test record database for auditing and quality control. Assigned test requirements control access to ESD Protected Areas based on operator test results.
The system records resistance measurements, temperature, and relative humidity to track the performance of ESD wrist straps and footwear. Software-programmable test limits help meet the testing requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 or other standards. Normally open and normally closed relay terminals allow pairing with a turnstile, automatic door, or other locking system to control access to ESD Protected Areas (EPAs). Simultaneous testing in less than two seconds reduces the time spent testing personal grounding devices used in ESD Control Plans.
The stand-alone operation ensures that operators can continue performing tests even in the event of a network failure. The split footplate tests both foot grounders independently at the same time. Multiple language settings enable the user interface to display in English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Turkish, Thai, or French. The device is NIST calibrated, following accepted procedures and standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
